Dr. Banh obtained both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Toronto. He has been practicing general dentistry in Uxbridge since completing his dental degree. Licensed with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Dr. Banh enjoys all aspects of dentistry with particular interests in periodontal and implant surgery. Dr. Banh is committed to clinical excellence, constantly upgrading his skills at continuing education courses to ensure patients receive the most up-to-date and predictable dental treatments available.
Dr. Banh is dedicated to giving back to the Uxbridge community, supporting several local organizations and events including: The Uxbridge Public Library, The Uxbridge Half Marathon, The Uxbridge Rotary Club, and The Lucy Maud Montgomery Society of Ontario. He has been an active member of The Rotary Club of Uxbridge for over a decade, serving as Club President in 2021-2022. He has helped to organize several environmental initiatives through the club such as tree plantings, Adopt-A-Road clean-ups, and just recently the Rotary Club of Uxbridge’s Bioswale project in Bonner Fields. Dr. Banh is also proud to have been a member of the Ghana Health Team on the 2008 and 2009 medical/dental missions, providing free dental care for the local population.
Currently, Dr. Banh is President of the Durham Ontario Dental Association, one of the 39 component societies of the Ontario Dental Association. He has been sharing sustainable dental practices with Durham dentists by encouraging the recycling of oral care waste products and disposable masks, and the adoption of Canadian-made bamboo and maple toothbrushes.
In his free time, Dr. Banh enjoys reading about science and history, the environment, and economics. He loves watching movies, and spending time with his wife and kids.
